A special release for 2014, the Year of the Horse. This is a classic ripe pu-erh cake composed entirely of harvested and fermented tea leaves from the Menghai area. The ripe tea leaves used are entirely Grade 1 and are smallish with a powerful cha qi taste and aroma. The brewed tea is burgundy red with some brown hues, and the tea soup is clear and will get clearer with time. Taste has a nutty and bitter taste and a sweet, thick, soothing after-taste.
