2012 Yunnan MengHai SearchingTea Classic Gray” Lao Ban Zhang Gu Shu” Ripe Pu erh Tea Cake
$9.80 – $68.60
Description
This is one of the highest quality Lao Ban Zhang that SearchingTea has ever produced.
This year’s cake is made from the first flush of Spring material harvested from the oldest trees in Lao Ban Zhang village which are between 350 and 450 years old. The picking and processing were overseen by SearchingTea Ourself. At each stage, he managed the processing to make sure the picking, wilting, kill-green, rolling and sun-drying stages were all done to perfection!
All cakes stone-pressed. Just 500 cakes were produced in total!
The taste is incredibly unique and complex, reflecting its unadulterated origins, single region terroir, spring harvesting, and skillful wet piling. Thick and creamy in the mouth, there is a cooling mouthfeel, both lubricating and sweet, and a long-lasting feeling in the mouth and throat. 10 Years Aged Aroma. Right now, it’s a fantastically smooth ripe tea that brews a nice dark wine-red color and is smooth and sweet.
